Mama's Corner: December 2004

Yesterday, we took a walk into the Bosque. I brilliant me, wanted to check out the ice that had formed on the ditch water. I'm so not like, "Let's go over there and fool around!" But we did and the first part of the water wasn't that thick. It still had water that wasn't frozen all the way through. I know, real dumb, right. So, my fiance takes off and starts walking slowly...he wanted to get to the thick ice...and like a nut, I follow him. He was way ahead of me...and then all of a sudden my foot slipped out from under me and I fell. I slid to the middle where the ice wasn't thick at all. (I know, I know) and I was trying to stand, but duh- it's ice...and I had on sneakers. So, I started calling, "Baby, Help me" The ice started cracking and I was trying to use my hands to back up. I so thought I was going to fall in. lol. It wasn't deep (like 3 ft.) But that's not the point, I don't want to be wet and cold on the half mile walk home. Instead, My baby came to rescue me and I walked home with a wet butt. lol. It was freeky for a second, but my night in shining armor came to save me. By the way, he laughed all the way home. :P~

Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Our Christmas went well. The kids had a wonderful time. It was nice. Their Grandparents bought them a Hummer and we hid it. We left it last...Brevin, thought he was all done unwrapping gifts and low-and-behold, there it was. It was really cute to see his reaction opening it up. I tried to capture it on camera....I took lots of pictures and can't wait to share them. :-)

I'm a Christian bride and blessed mom of two beautiful children. I got married to the love of my life on August 11th. We've been together for over 9 years. I was born and raised in NY and I miss my home. I love the sound of rain.:) I hate the smell of butter cooking.:-P I adore all types of animals. I have 2 cats that I love very much. I wish I could have more animals, but this is good for now. We also feed the birds outside and I have a squirrel that comes, too! We have to feed God's creatures! Everyone needs LOVE and food. :)
