In Loving Memory..

~HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY~

Late Night at Work...

I didn't get home from work last night until 12:30 AM! The store closes at 11pm, we had a lot to do. I've been kicking some butt over there. It was only my second day and I'm doing pretty good. I got up at 10am and reunited with the kids. It was the first time since my last job that I didn't get to put the kids to bed. I don't like missing that. So, that sucked...But this morning I cooked them breakfast and got to play with them. Hopefully, when the new schedule comes out I won't be working nights. Nights isn't even what I put for my availability. They just had some open slots and I grabbed them while I could...Bad choice in a way. It rained today! It came down good. It was just when we put the kids down for a nap and we were getting ready to watch, "Sometimes in April." It's just like Hotel Rwanda. I can't believe those things went on in my life time and no one seemed to care (here in America)...Crazy! Anyway, I picked up White Noise, too. It's supposed to be scary...We're going to watch that when the kids go to bed tonight, we'll see if it's scary. Got my free book today. They stripped the cover, but it doesn't really matter...It's what's inside that counts. LOL. Hey, as long as I get a free book every week, they can take the cover...It's fine by me. :)~ So, only after two, long days of working...It's not that bad. I don't get a break, but I'll need to talk to someone about that. I'm prone to getting bad migraines, if I need to eat something- you can BEST believe I will eat a Sneakers and be on my way. :-) We got to cook out for Memorial Day (after the rain). I tried calling my dad and only got his voice mail. I tried to wish him a Happy Memorial Day. My uncle was in the VFW parade today. He rode on a float, my mom said. He even got all dressed up, that's good for him! I was surprised and happy to hear that he's moving about. Tomorrow, I get to shop for my dress, or at least LOOK! LOL. I hope to find something. David's Bridal is squeezing me in...Apparently they had nothing for the morning...And that's the only day I have to go this week with out the kids being with me. I can NOT try on dresses with two little ones running around, impossible! So, they squeezed me in. Then, there is this other place I'm going to go to after wards...It will be a busy and FUN morning. I can't wait!!! :)

First day, UGH

I just got home from work. Ugh. Busy, busy, busy...Got home at 7:40pm-ish and we cooked and ate. The kids were running wild. It's almost 9pm and we're waiting for them to finish dinner...Really late night. Tomorrow, we're going to eat early, this way they can get to bed at a decent time. I'm tired. I worked almost 6 hours and didn't get a break. I think that's crazy. Where I work, you have to work 6 or more hours to actually sit down. I think that's so crazy. I'm actually going to look it up, because I thought if you worked more than 4 hours you get a break. I stood the whole time and my little legs are aching. As soon as the kids go to bed, I'm taking a HOT bath and going to use my soap from Hawaii that Linda gave me. :) Sounds relaxing to me! Then, I'm going to bed...Which sounds even better! :-)

YESTERDAY!

Yesterday, was a GREAT day. Charles had the whole day off! We went to look at invitations...We left the house about 9:30am and we didn't get done until after 11am. We didn't even relies we were there that long. We looked at books and books of invitations to find the right one and we believe we have found it. :) YAY! So, we got that accomplished. I can't wait to send them all out. The wedding planning is coming along greatly. We're slowly getting things done. I get to look at wedding dresses on Tuesday. I also got to talk to my Dad yesterday and my mom. I love talking to my dad...He's so crazy. I miss that. I can't wait to see them all. I'm really excited! Yesterday's weather also was pleasant. We were able to do a lot of outside activities, because it wasn't so hot. The kids played outside. Charles and I washed the outside of the lil, dirty, black car. It looks a lot better. We were making sure everything underneath the hood was good. There are minor things that need replacing, light bulbs, etc. Nothing major. It's pretty cute, now. It's sitting outside looking much better after being washed. It just needs a little TLC, like everything in this world does. We need to get some lysol and spray it down, then some Oust for the air inside of it...Then, maybe I'll sit in it, but probably NOT! LOL.I don't know why I would- really. I cleaned the inside without stepping foot in it. Hahaha...That's funny...But It needs to be sprayed down and get rid of any germs before I even think about sitting it in. The kids thought it was a *new* car. Brev, was very impressed after seeing it all cleaned. He kept calling it the new car. We kept correcting him, "No- it's an old car!" hehe...We were able to take a walk, too. I wanted to wash the van, but our tummies told us differently. So, we ate and played some games with the kids. It was really funny, because we were dancing to some oldies and Meesa, thought we were playing "London Bridges" and was going underneath Brev and I. We were laughing so hard. Then, we all started dancing and also ended up playing London Bridges after all. We also played hide and seek. That Meesa finds me every time. Grr...I guess it's not as easy as hiding when I was a kid. LOL. It was fun. Daddy, has the BEST hiding spots. hehe...Lots of fun!

~Wedding Invitations~

I'm looking forward to tomorrow... Charles and I, are going to look for some wedding invitations. YAY! Also, he has the WHOLE day off and Grandma is coming to watch the kids for 3 hours in the am. It doesn't get any better than that. LOL. I'm really excited! Then, next week we're going to look for a dress. I found one online, it's really cheap...So, I'm not too worried. All the measurements were mine, exactly...So, that was a little weird. I found it by accident, too! I was looking for invitations and there it was. I love that Stephi! She has the best ideas, EVER! So, tomorrow is going to be a FUN day. The kids are going to love the fact that Daddy's off, too. Our main goal is to get things accomplished and we will! :)

My New Job

I had my job orientation last night. It went well. I came up with a new policy already...If they pick it I might get a cash reward...Which I need so, I'm hoping I'm picked. LOL. I was there a couple of hours and already changing things (for the better, I might add!) Ha! So, there's a lot to do over there. I like a fast paced environment, at least I won't get bored. :) I get a FREE book a week, plus great discounts on items in the store, and a rental discount as well. So, I can't go wrong there. I'm really excited about getting FREE books. I think that's so cool. They just throw them away if the employees don't take them home. I can't imagine that...But they have to. So, anyway, so far so good. Ran into some WEIRDOS at the store, but then again this is NEW MEXICO! Hhahaha...No, but they were really weird and practically missing all their teeth. LOL. That was my experience so far...

THE DYSON Posted by Hello

~THE DYSON~

How to build a better vacuum cleaner. If you think your floor is clean right now and you don't own a Dyson vacuum, there's a very good chance you're sadly mistaken. Because traditional vacuum cleaners suffer from a serious design flaw: The various bags and filters they use start to clog with dust and dirt the second they are turned on. This clogging can reduce their suction power as much as 50%, resulting in floors that are never truly clean.Dyson vacuums don't lose suction!British inventor James Dyson spent 14 years designing and building a better vacuum cleaner. Dyson's bagless, patented Cyclone action creates a cenrifugal suction effect 100,000 times the force of gravity to spin dust and dirt off the floor and out of the air with virtually no loss in suction power as you clean. The result? When you use a Dyson vacuum, your floors will be cleaner than ever before!More great Dyson features.Need more reasons to buy a Dyson? It's the most powerful upright vacuum we've ever sold. It's ultra hygenic and easy to empty: Just pull the handy trigger mechanism and you never need to touch the accumulated dirt and dust. No expensive bags or filters to buy either. A lifetime HEPA filter ensures the highest levels of filtration for cleaner expelled air. Plus, it auto adjusts to different carpet heights. It will change the way you clean forever. AND IT DOES! I FINALLY have cleaned with this thing, and it's the BEST vacuum out there. I LOVE IT!!!! <<3

Wedding Show

We went to a wedding show for the Grand Opening of the *new* Embassy Suits, yesterday. We had a great time. It's a jaw-dropping hotel, too!!! 8-O The wedding show was fantastic! They had a beautiful ice sculpture of a vase filled with gorgeous flowers as a center piece. They had tons of food...Hot and cold....Kids went right for the fruit. LOL. They had a flowing chocolate fountain for the fruit, too. Chocolate covered strawberries are my favorite. YUM! They also had a flowing fountain for punch. It was really nice!! There were all kinds of vendors there, anything and everything you would need for your wedding. The kids had a ball. Meesa and I, were loving the dresses. Meesa told me,"I want a princess dress!" A lot of them weren't my taste, but it was fun watching the girls on the runway. Altogether we stayed over three hours. I signed up to win prizes, but didn't win anything. It's okay though...LOL...I got a lot of information and some helpful ideas, as well. I think we're going to be alright after all. We ended up getting SEVEN roses, too! We was nice and the kids weren't that naughty, either. -Thanks to a double stroller. LOL!

FUN

We cooked out yesterday and I made potato salad. YUM! We also cleaned down our '99 protégé that we haven't seen since Brev was a baby. That what happens when you let dirty people take over a nice car. It was really disgusting. It's looking better though. We're going to nurse it back to health and then probably attempt to sell it. Yesterday, was 97 degrees and we're outside cleaning a car...crazy. Our neighbor asked us if we wanted to get heat stoke. We're were okay, we didn't stay out there too long and we got it done, so I guess that's all that matters. The kids were able to play outside after the sun went down. It stays so light these days, I love that. It gives us a chance to do things later in the day. We took a walk around 7:30pm and it was perfect outside. We brought Brevy's train set out last night and he was lovin' it. Meesa, had fun playing with her tea set. After seeing the tea set Brev, got interested in that as well. lol. They always have to be doing the same thing. So, yesterday was a fun day. Today, we're going to a wedding show. Bad thing about that is we have to take all three kids. UGH! So, I don't know how much we'll get accomplished there. We'll have to bring some toys to keep these guys busy. I have so much to do and hope this really helps out. I don't know though. Usually, when Aiy is around the kids are hyper and can't sit still. Well, I hope it will be fun. We have no one to watch them. I just don't trust any 'ole person. The only people to watch them now is familia (family). I hope they're on their BEST behavior. We'll see!

A True Animal Lover <<3

I have a squirrel that comes to eat roasted peanuts in our back yard. I think she's adorable. I even named her Peril. She's very skittish and really smart. Today, I was lucky enough to have 3 squirrels all wanting my peanuts. Hehe...Told ya I'm an animal lover! Yeah, even squirrels. I 'guu' at anything. They're God's creatures! :)~

Update! :-)

Finally I get to post. I've only posted pictures lately and miss actual 'blogging.' Took my drug test today for a job offer...I know I will pass it with flying 'raInbow' colors. Not worried what- so- ever!!! We woke up early to take Aiy to school. Then, Charles and I, went to take a cat nap while the kids were being naughty. I've been so tired after getting back from Co. I guess we got more sleep there. Although it didn't seem like it, because the kids woke up constantly in their nap and at night- talking, coughing, etc. It was awful!! So, it really doesn't make any sense...All I know is I'm so tired all the time. I learned that our tire exploded today. Oh yes, what we love to deal with, the unexpected. Ugh...Charles, called me and told me we'd be needing tires, like NOW. So, he went to Sears. He was on his way to work, too. Dangerous...Going 70 mph with a bad tire isn't something you want to do. Luckily, he didn't get to that point yet. Earlier we were altogether in the car and everything seemed fine. Weird how these things come up, but nonetheless it was taken care of. *sigh* So, now he's at work...A whole three hours late, (he was only going for a half a day.) Crazy, huh?! So, now we have new tires on the van. God, knows what will happen to the Protégé`. Sucks....Money, Money, Money. Some good news though. I was also informed that my future Father-in law WILL be attending the wedding. Charles and I, are both shocked and excited. Ecstatic, actually! Wow....That's really cool. Things are looking up in that area. I have my photographer and my cousin is trying his best to marry us. He's almost sure he can do it...If not we have inexpensive back up, waiting. So, everything is looking good, for once. YAY! Other than that...The kids are still trying to get over their colds. It looks like they were getting better and then Brev- had a low grade fever last night while taking Aiy home. Strange!? I think she's passing germs to them from the teenagers she lives with, they're always sick. Sucks! That stuff is Airborne! Hopefully, with the warm weather (88 degrees), they get rid of it. Baby, has basketball tonight. He claims he's only playing 15 minutes with his knee the way it is. He's been seeing a physical therapist for it...He better let it heal, too! Grr...! Other than all of that...It's the same ole. *smile* I'm just happy blogging again. Everything gets blogged! There is NO mercy and I must say, if feels good! hehe...

OUR TRIP!

It was really fun on the way home. I must have taken about a million pictures. We saw so many wild animals. Okay, anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE LOVE LOVE ANIMALS....All kinds...I cue at anything. I love nature...So, almost into NM- it was like the Co./ NM border -we saw so many antelope, about 200 in total. They were so adorable.!!! They were everywhere, too. Living here you don't get to see many animals so whatever I see, makes me really happy. LOL. We Saw about 500 cows, about 100 horses, 1 donkey, 1 red fox, and 1 lama. HOW CUTE, RIGHT?! Oh, I was in my GLORY! They were all on the plains out in the open. We even stopped off on the side of the rode to take pictures of the antelope. GORGEOUS! I loved it! The kids got to see them, too. I think even Charles enjoyed them, hehe....It was something you don't see everyday. For them to be so close to the road was really something. Grrr...But now we're back in ole NM. Oh joy! The kids didn't want to come back. Brev said, "I like it here mama." It was nice, but I can only stand eating out so much. We did well though. We ate lots of fruit and veggies. We ate healthy, as heathy as we could- I guess. I do miss Denver. It's so nice there. The people are nice, it's just a different vibe than NM. Now that we're back we've already done so much. We have to clean house...Charles, tackled the kitchen, cleaned the ceiling fan, I vacuumed, washed the clothes, put all the luggage away, watered all the flowers and trees...They looked like they could use a drink, got to check the mail...Had tons of magazines, YAY! We got a lot accomplished. We're still really tired. It's like jet lag, going 80 miles an hour the whole time can get to ya. Not to mention sitting for that long. The kids did so well though. They had their snack bags and trash bags- they made full use of them. I was proud. They went potty with no accidents. WHAT A GREAT JOB! Charles, didn't even feel well and he ended up driving the whole way. Something makes me nervous about going 80mph. I'd rather go like 60mph, LOL! Maybe it's because of my mothering instincts...I dunno. We made it with all of our fingers and toes though. It's like 75 outside, we missed those temperatures! More pictures coming, still have lots to do around the house.

Vacation, over? Already?!??

We're packing up and getting ready to go. Everything is practically ready. I don't want to leave, but I want everyone including myself to get better. Looking forward to taking more pictures. Last night the kids were crazy. They were jumping all over me and Charles. They must be starting to feel better. They were spinning in the chair- lol something they don't get to do at home. Jumping on the beds, another thing they don't get to do at home. I told them to live it up because when we get home it's going to be a different story. And they did. LOL- It was funny watching them. I took lots of pictures of them being crazy. Some of me and baby, too! Hahaha...It was fun. A good way to end everything.

Vacation and SICK- ugh

Nothing much going on with us today. We're still trying to get over our head colds. Kids can't go swimming, because they're sick and it's an outside pool. It's only 60 degrees out there. Grrr...Can't do that. We ate lunch today at Subway. The kids and I found a Strictly Denver store and bought some postcards and a t-shirt for Aiyana. The kids like getting on the buss and getting out. The kids are napping now, it's the only time I have to actually sit down and write. I'm glued to CNN, what else is new? Charles went back to "work" to some conferences in the Tower building next door. I still can't wait to take lots of pictures. We brought three cameras and only took a few pictures of the kids, crazy! If I didn't have any cameras I'd sure be longing for one. It's just hard with all the cold weather we've been having. We're just trying to get the kids in and out the car as quickly as possible and into the buildings. So, there's a lot of scurrying going on. Nothing looking to the 7 hour drive back home. Charles, is feeling ill so that means I might be driving, ahhh. We have a cute rental car, it's a Poniac. It's really small compared to our mini van back home. It's just right for the four of us. We couldn't possible fit anyone else though. The kids have April's DVD players so they don't really mind what they're driving in. We went to eat at Cracker Barrel last night. It's good country cooking. The kids love playing with the Chinese checkers until the food arrives. hehe. Charles, is napping now because he doesn't feel well. Everyone is sleeping except me, lol. It's so hard to have fun when you feel like crap. I'm just glad we're not in NM. I think I'd feel worse knowing I Charles was here and we were home. That sucks...So, even if we can't do many "fun" activities at least we're all together. Mom's going to call soon. I'm sure everyone will feel better tomorrow. Warm weather always helps. More tomorrow...*Snif* *Sneeze*

Cold and Rainy in CO.

Ugh, It's raining outside, cold, 50's . It's like a New York day. Kids- still sick. Now Charles has joined the circle of the sickly. It sucks not being able to breathe. Talked to Aiyana last night. Her "mother" was in the back ground telling her what to say. One of those things was, "Daddy, you missed my Girl Scout Award Show!" First of all they didn't tell us anything about an award show. Even if we we're out of town they would have told us the day before the even went on. Ugh! I don't like those people. Aiy wasn't that excited to talk to us. Who knows what they tell her over there. All I know is I could hear it in her voice. Hopefully, she'll be excited to see us when we get back. Today, we had a steak for lunch with veggies and fries all for 8 bucks. Wow...We're getting pretty good at finding cheap places to eat. Especially, considering everything is so expensive here. I did splurge on a ice cream, oops. hehe. What else? Hmm...Oh we didn't get to go to the zoo after all. When the kids got up the weather was nasty. Another storm coming in. We did get to go to a nice upscale mall, called the Cherry Creek Mall. I got to go into a LV store. I just looked around, but it was fun. When I win the lotto, I'm buying my mom and I matching hand bags. I guess that means I actually have to start playing, hehe. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen, it was really good. The kids got macaroni and cheese and Charles and I, ate pizza. It wasn't NY pizza, but it was good none the less. Charles, comes back today at 5pm. YAY!

A Mini NYC...

Here we are in Downtown Denver, Colorado. It reminds me of a mini NYC. You have your outdoor mall on 16th street with free bus (which is more like a little subway.) Diverse people everywhere. You also have access to NY style cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. YUM! Today, we went down 16th street to see what it has to offer. They have ESPN Zone- good food. There's a Walgreen's and a Rite-Aid (YAY!) I haven't been to Rite Aid in a l-o-n-g time. We're all still sick so maybe it will come in handy. We ate lunch just a little while ago. We paid $12.00 for a sandwich, 1 water, and two- small apple juices at Deli. It was good. Charles had a good idea to go see the exhibits for Injury Prevention Conference they were holding there, so we did. We got more lunch, too four bags of lunches and a bunch of free stuff including a massager- my favorite. I'm going to try to have the kids massage me later. LOL. So, we ended up spending money when we in-fact didn't have to. Grrr! Charles, brought us breakfast this morning as well. We've been doing well eating free. LOL. I had 4 muffins (only ate 2) a bagel, and a plate of fresh fruit- YUM! The kids and I ate well. Charles, returned downstairs for another seminar. Later, when the kids are up from their nap and he's all done we're going to go to the zoo, YAY!

Mother's Day from Oprah

I'm in awe of good mother- those heroines all around me who sacrifice daily out of love for their children. In out society, we give motherhood plenty of lip service. We pat moms on the head, bring them flowers on Mother's Day, and honor them before big crowds. But at the end of the day, we don't extend them the same respect we would a professor, a dentist, an accountant, or a judge. Women who choose full- time mothering are often put in a boxy by their friends and former colleagues- a container labeled JUST A MOM. I believe the choice to become a mother is the choice to become one of the greatest spiritual teachers there is. To create an environment that's stimulating and nurturing to pass a sense of responsibility to another human being, to raise a child who understands that he or she is created from good and is capable of anything- I know for sure that few callings are more honorable. To play down mothering as small is to crack the very foundation on which greatness stands. The world can only value mothering to the extent that women everywhere stand and declare that it must be so. In our hands, we hold the power to transform the perception of motherhood. Whether we decide to work full-time while raising children at all, we need to understand that any put down of the decision to mother is a threat to women's choices everywhere. We should no longer allow a mother to be defined as "just a mom." It is on her back that great nations are built. We should no longer allow any woman's voice to be drowned out or disregarded. As we affirm other women, as we teach our sons, husbands, and friends to hold them in the highest regard, we honor both the mothers whose shoulders we've stood on and daughters who will one day stand tall on ours. In May- and every other month of the year- I honor and thanks every great spiritual teacher who goes by the name of Mother. -Oprah ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I love Oprah and when reading this had to put it in my blog. I am a proud mother of two and appreciate these words. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. May you have a beautiful day with your family.

No More Flu!

Being sick yesterday was not fun at all. I still can't believe I got sick. I never get sick, especially with a fever! You picture your anniversary going so smoothly, romantically, and having fun. You don't picture yourself with a fever and body aches. Ugh, I swear this stuff only happens to me. LOL. It just goes to show, anything can happen. We did however, get to go out to lunch by ourselves (NO kids.) That was nice! We ate at P.F Changs, where else!? I love it there. GREAT food- yeah yeah...LOL. Then, we went to see some animals they had up for adoption. We were playing with the cats mainly. Beautiful calico cat named Missy caught my eye, she was a sweat heart. Then, we decided to go look at some wedding rings. We found some we liked. That was it really- the rest of the day I just got worse. Grandma, was watching the kids and we put them to sleep when we got home. We sat down to talk about wedding arrangements. Marisa stopped by with her "friend" Isaac. So, we got to meet him. He was nice. I told her before that Isaac's are trouble. Actually, my advise was all guys are trouble. LOL. Which is true! So, we all sat around the table talking and figuring out who's coming to the wedding. I still haven't heard anything from my side of the family, besides my mom and dad, and of course Jenice. Other than that I have no clue who's coming. I have to make some calls later on today. I gave people a heads up months ago. I figured I would want a heads up. So, we'll see. I'm excited tomorrow is Mother's Day. It should go better than our anniversary. I think I'm on the road to getting better, hopefully.

Sick on our 7yr. Ann.

I have the flu on our SEVEN year anniversary. I only got 3 hours of sleep last night. I have a temperature of 101.1 (and that was 30 min. After taking Thera Flu.) Ugh, I feel awful. This is NOT how I pictured our SEVEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!! :( :(

UGH!

Meesa, was awful this afternoon/evening. She woke up during her nap and cried the whole time. Turns out she hit her lip and it was all puffy. She wouldn't tell me what was wrong. I asked her, "what's the matter?", she replied with, "I don't know!" and we did that over and over. She missed her nap and was so cranky after that. Ugh, So, I gave her soup, because she wasn't feeling that great. She caught a slight cold from somewhere...And she didn't want the soup. She said it was hot. I tested it and it was warm. So, she cried, and said she was tired. I tired laying her back down and she still cried. No matter what I tried she wasn't happy, because she missed her nap. This girl can sleep, too. I knew she wouldn't be right all day long because of it. Finally, she was ready to eat her soup. She ate it all and acted like nothing happened. By then, it was dinner time for Brev and I, so we ate. They got their night clothes on and meesa again started crying...This time because she needed to pee. As she stood in front of the potty she danced all around. She's so naughty. She's too tired to do it herself and would rather go in her pants. So, I helped her with that. Then it was time for her to change into her clothes. She carried her clothes all around the house. Finally, getting into them and now she's lying down and ready for bed. Her eyes are puffy from fussing all day and she really just needs to get some rest. She fought it all day and now I hope she falls asleep. Only 30 minutes until Charles comes home. Thank God. I don't know what's wrong with me, but ever since I came home from working out I've had a sore throat. Something in the water fountain. I should have known better. I never drink the water. The minute I do, I get sick. UGH! I'm glad my baby will be off work for the next 10 days, a vacation for us. Tomorrow, we're sleeping in- no Aiy in the am. We're also going to kick back all day and enjoy our 7 year anniversary! *A sigh of relief.*

Nothing, but GOOD things to come...

I had my job interview yesterday. It went really well, which was exciting. I'm still trying to find a wedding photographer. I posted this "want ad" online and people have been responding. I think I found a really good guy, still don't know if he's available the date I need him yet. Turns out I go to his site and click "weddings" and there's TIM. Tim, is a good friend from high school. I can't believe him and his fiancé were splashed all over this guy's website. I was ecstatic to see it. Knowing Tim, he only has the best. So, I trust this guy...It's just the matter of him being available. We're crossing our fingers and toes and praying he is. WOW...I shouldn't get that excited until I really know for sure. It IS short notice. I guess we'll find out. Everything seems to finally be falling into place though. Slowly, but surely we will get there. Tomorrow, is our 7 year anniversary to top everything off. It doesn't seem like it's been seven years. Wow, Time fly's! We're going to go out to my favorite restaurant while Grandma comes to watch the kids. YAY! A lunch without them will be nice. Then, we're going to do some wedding stuff after that. We have lots going on this whole upcoming week. I'm excited!!!!

Not bad, not bad at all...

Today, is going pretty well. I got some things accomplished! I went to work out this afternoon at my gym. I took the kids to the day care and worked out for 30 minutes on the treadmill. I needed it! LOL~ Then, I went to Subway and got a sandwich. I'll have to work that off tomorrow. LOL....Just kidding. I just want to get toned. After having two kids, being toned went down the drain. I can't afford to loose weight. So, that's my goal. The kids liked playing at the day care. It freaked me out. I went in there and there were kids everywhere. The lady watching them was screaming at these two older children (who probably knew better, but they were having a ball watching her get frustrated.) I signed the kids in and looked at her...She needed a break. I told her that the kids are new and asked if there was anything else I needed to sign. She gave me this waver. AHHHH! And another form asking about the kids. YIKES. I asked if she was the only one watching the kids, she did say- "NO!" So, that was good news. Brev and Meesa, took off. They weren't worried at all, piece of cake for them. Meesa, has never been around other children. So, that was a first for her. She just kinda looked around and found a kitchen set to play with (similar to hers) and was happy. Brev, took off for the "jungle house thingy" and so much for a "bye mama!" So, after watching them for a couple of minutes, I told the lady (EVA- made sure to get her name) that I was really nervous about leaving them. She laughed and said that they'll be okay. I told her I won't be long. After my intense mile and a half truck on the treadmill...I quickly scurried on over to the day care where I found Brev, with a little grocery cart filled with dinosaurs and Meesa was playing with a little 1 year old. So, I guess they did okay. The lady (Eva) said Brev, cried for a second and then was fine again. They were ready to go home. When we got home it was nap time. Brev, exclaimed how he couldn't wait to go back to the day care. It was a new experience for Meesa and she didn't seem to mind too much. It's actually good for them to get away from me for a little while and it's good for them to interact with other children. The environment that they provide is a little overwhelming though. Especially, if your kids have never been to preschool. Brev, has gone to preschool for a couple of months, but Meesa hasn't. The kids were all different ages in one room (usually a no- no) and it seemed like disorganized play. Nothing really going on, except for children running everywhere. So, it was nerve-wracking. Also, as I busted my big 'ole butt on the treadmill they continued to page a parent over the loud speaker, at least 4 times. That freaked me out. I was thinking, well either he's over his two hour limit and they want his kid out of there. OR his kid is being really naughty and they aren't going to put up with his crap anymore. Interesting! That made me even more apprehensive and started to really "work it" on the treadmill. Almost like, if I walked really fast, I'd be that much closer to getting them out of there. True...It all worked out though. Phhhuuuu -That was close. So, after eating my yummy sandwich, I called my mom to catch up on things with her. She's doing well. She stopped drinking for the time being. I hope she keeps it up. She needs to for herself. Now, it's hailing outside. I don't understand Spring time. Isn't it supposed to be nice? I mean, in NM at least...NY was colder than hell yesterday, but I mean, it's NY! I at least expect NM to have good weather. I've been spoiled with nothing but really awesome weather here...Until now. It's cold, over caste right now and it has the nerve to be hailing. I don't get it! Well, at least I don't have to go outside for anything. Aiyana, will be coming over later. (WOW AND THE HAIL IS COMING DOWN!) I applied for two jobs on Friday. I just found out I have a job interview tomorrow. So, that will be fun! I need to get out with the community, again. LOL. It's especially good while we wait on our impending wedding. So, that's that! It was a pretty good day. We'll see what the evening has in store for us as Aiyana makes up her mind about sleeping over. There's a lot to do around the house...So, I better get to it!
