The Big Move

Tomorrow, is the big move. Mom-in law isn't coming after all. She has to work and can't make it. Baby, thinks it might be better that way. The kids won't be hyper if she isn't around. They get so excited just seeing her. I guess it worked out well. I thought it would be good to have her come. Oh well! Maybe she'll be able to see the house when it's all moved in. Still packing up odds and ends things. I have to unhook my lovely PC soon and decided to blog one last time until the new house (if I have the time.) I'm going to take "before" pictures tomorrow. It turns out we will have the time, because we pick up the keys tomorrow morning. A perfect time to run to the house and take the pictures...Yay! I didn't think I'd have a chance once everyone came to the old house we'd be packing the silly truck and hauling it to the new one with no time for pictures. So, I'm happy about that. Mom, wants to see the house. She's still talking about visiting us. I hope she does. Well, I should make it short. I have a lot to get accomplished in a short period of time. You'll miss me until then! I know you will! :-) Hahahaha! Missing me already...

An Empty House

Today, after work we cleaned out almost everything in the house. We rolled up rugs, took all the left over crap we had sitting around and boxed it all. No clothes in closets, no pans in the kitchen, and no food in the pantry. It looks so weird! The house only looked like that the first couple of hours we moved in it. I had pictures on the walls and rugs on the floors hours later after moving in it two years ago. I can't stand a "plain" house, it drives me nuts! I ran around thinking where can I put everything? Also, trying to re-arrange things over and over to make it look better. It's actually fun! I like making things look good. This house is no longer near that, not until the owners take over and furnish it. Their plan for this house is for it to be a furnished rental. Whatever! We trimmed all the vines, cut the flower shrubs in the front, and pulled weeds in the back yard. Not fun, but we got it done. We saw a really cool leaf bug. Oh and while we were cutting the shrubs a leaf bug jumped on my ankle. I screamed, because I thought it was a wolf spider (which we have all over the place.) Hahaha! I have BAD arachnophobia. The leaf bug was really cool though. We ended up seeing two of them and the kids got a kick out of it. :)~ I'm glad we're almost done cleaning this house. The kids keep saying how they're going to miss it, but I don't think I will miss it that much. I'll miss my squirrels and that's about it. We don't go into the Bosque that much anymore. It would be different if we took advantage of the walking trails and such. We didn't do too much of that this year. It's hard to find the time to go running. Or maybe I'm just lazy! LOL, could be both. I think I'm ready for the change. It's kind of scary being out there in the middle of no where not knowing where the hell things are. BUT- I'll learn and learn quickly! I just thought of one thing I will miss, the location of this house. It's next to everything! Nail salon, hair salons, Subway, grocery store, my job...Everything! You can walk to so many places and it will take less than 5 minutes to get there. It's so convenient! That's what I'll miss! Mmm, the yummy Keva Juices I used to get. YUMMY! Oh well, time for a change! What else is going on around here....? Oh yeah, the state fair is here and we haven't gone yet. I don't know if we're going to be able to go this year because of funds, with moving and all....Well, ya know how that goes. Last year Brevy and Aiy, had a great time going on all the rides. She went today so we didn't have her over. Ah, we'll have to see. One more week of the fair and then it's gone until next year. I hope to not be around by then though. One more week of work and I get transferred. I'm looking forward to that. Today, wasn't so bad. I should work the mornings more often. I got home early and had the whole day left to empty the house. :)

Cleaning up, or at least trying to...

We rearranged the garage tonight while Brevy, rode his bike and Meesa, chased him. What a mess we have! We found old love letters from when Charles and I, first started talking when I lived in NY seven years ago. Seven years ago we still have all those letters, notes, cards, you name it. That's so crazy! It's cute, but crazy! It was funny because first we found his box with his purple folder FULL of my stuff. I was saying, "I can't believe you still have all this crap!" Then, about five minutes later I found my purple folder/binder full of his letters, cards, etc. Hahaha! We just threw his in with mine. We're going to be together for the rest of our lives, I think I'm willing to part with some of that stuff. Hehe...It's cute though. We accomplished a lot tonight. I was hoping we'd throw out more crap. Nope! Not a chance! We will eventually donate some of the kids toys. They have a huge TV box full of old toys that we're going to give away. There's no way we can take all this crap with us. I did say that once we get to the new house we must go through it all and throw stuff out. See, that was the purpose of going threw it in the first place. Baby, has a hard time parting with stuff. Don't ya, Babe? Yep! So, we attempted to clean a mess. We combined some junk, but it's still 'junk' in my book. Oh well! We tried! After that we went to Red Robin. The kids love it there. I had my famous chicken burger. Kids had Mac n' cheese which they could have at home. Daddy, had a cheese burger. It was good! They got their balloons and we came on home. It will be weird not calling this place "home" anymore. Aiy, even expressed how much she'd miss it. We all will! We had some really good times here. Especially, around the holidays. My in-laws have really started to come around and they did so coming at this house. Lots of family nights. I hope they want to do the same thing at the new house. You'd think they'd come over now that we'll be living closer to them. I can't wait to start everything on Tuesday. They still don't even have the refrigerator in the house or the window coverings yet. I just can't believe it! It's like, "HELLO WE"RE MOVING IN SOON!" Ugh! People! Hopefully the agency completes it by Tuesday (is what I was told.) It's like well if you want your money you better look like completing it by Tuesday. Why can't we ever get some good ole customer service these days? I'm not rude when I go about these things. I only get rude in here (my blog!) You would think if you want some people to take over the rent in your house than the least you can do is put up a window covering by move in day. I mean, after all they said they'd would get it done when we first went to look at it. It's just frustrating, is all. Colette, knows what I'm talking about. LOL! Don't ya?! I'll keep ya updated on the progress! Right now I want to go relax a bit. Wish me luck! G' night!

Ophelia

http://www.cnn.com/2005/WEATHER/09/15/ophelia/index.html This hurricane went right over cousin Rev. Joes' house for hours and hours. We emailed them this morning and everyone is okay. Some garage damage and the back yard being a mess is the extent of it all. He tells me that they always get some kind of damage living close to the coast. It's very scary to me seeing everything that Katrina did and all. We're still trying to donate to her victims. It seems no one is taking clothes. Odd! I can't express enough my joys that everyone is okay from Ophelia. Mother Nature is sure doing her thing!

SNAKE

Brevy, found a three foot snake yesterday. I was in the house cooking dinner while their daddy was outside with them. I peeked out of the door to see if I could see them 'scootering' and I heard Aiy scream, "Brev, found a snake! Come here and see!" I turned off the rice and flew outside. The snake was huge! I was thinking it was a tiny snake. Oh no! When Brevy, first saw it, it was right by his foot crawling along. Brevy, told me that he took his scooter and dragged it behind him and ran away from it. We all went to go see where it was going. It wasn't a rattle snake though I feared it might be. I definitely know what a rattle snake looks like after watching the Animal Planet so much. After looking at it, I still don't know what kind it was.More than likely something Native to NM. We watched him from a safe distance while talking about the wild life that lives in the Bosque. We are really living in the snake's back yard. He was kind of cute! He looked a lot like the snake here in this picture. It was exciting and the the snake was the talk at dinner. ;-)

Packing, Packing, and More Packing...

This morning has been a morning of nothing, but packing. Oh and calling all my magazines and updating my new address. :) I thought I was done doing that and then I found a bunch that I definitely don't want to miss getting. My allergies are also on the rise with all this dust everywhere. Ew! Anyway, kids are feeling better. I think all of us are. We're over the cold thing that was floating around. Brevy, isn't hurting today with his new shots that he received yesterday. He's feeling like his old self again. "All is well", as I like to say! I'll be glad when the house is all packed, this way I can actually sit and breathe. I hate this moving process, it's such a pain the the a$$! Six more days until we're in our new house. Brevy, is counting down the days. He's excited, because he'll have his own room and no one to bother with his trucks. I'm excited to be in a new area with new neighbors (eventually), and being in the middle of no where. LOL. It should be interesting. I think if nothing else it will make us plan better with the whole 'food shopping' thing. We almost- always go every night to pick up food. With gas prices being as high as they are (they're coming down, but still high), That's crazy! We need to be buying food once a week and just stocking up on things. I've been trying to tell my husband this for years. Maybe now we'll actually DO that. We're going to have to, there isn't even a grocery store near by. It will be a total change of *set ways.* Which is a good thing! I should stop rambling and get back to packing. AH! Anyone want to help? I could use some help! :-)~

Stressed

Yesterday, was so stressful. It seemed like everything that could go wrong, did. Well, almost anyway. I think it's all this pressure to pack up this entire house and start on the cleaning and making it look new. It won't be too hard. It's not like it's dirty, but it's still a lot of work. The kids were awful yesterday, too. Mainly Brevy, he wasn't listening at all. I think I could have used some more sleep, too. I woke up early and that's always hard to do for me. I'm so not a morning person! Just stressed! This morning the kids had their doctor's appointments. Brevy, got four boosters (which I knew he was going to get!) He didn't even cry until the very last one, it was a stinger. Poor thing! Even though he gave me such a hard time yesterday, I still tear up seeing him in pain. He's fine now playing outside making so much noise. LOL! I bet he'll be uncomfortable when he wakes up from his nap. I already gave him some pain reliever. Hopefully, that takes the edge off. Today, started off feeling like yesterday. I'm hoping to take a small nap when the kids go to sleep and hopefully that makes me feel better. :} Is it noon yet?

Sept. 11th

I went to work this afternoon until 5:30pm. It wasn't that bad of a day. I came home and had dinner with the family. Then, we went to venture for some more moving boxes. The kids rode their scooters when we got home. Brevy, feel off his sideways luckily not hurting anything. Meesa, fell off her bike bumping the back of her head a little bit. Brevy, ended up hitting his ankle bone before coming in. Before that Aiy, pulled him off of our bed hitting the back of his head on the bed frame. They wear helmets and are still beat up. What a mess! Besides that they are doing well. Baby and I, packed up some of our bedroom. We boxed clothes, DVD's, candles, books, and more stuff tonight. We got a lot done in an hour. Tomorrow, I should have most of our bedroom done and can focus more on getting the kids posters down and some more closet stuff away. The kids are the only ones that still have stuff on the walls. Every other room in the house is bare. We're ahead of schedule really, which is good for us. We always seem to wait until last minute to accomplish things. I just really want to be mostly packed for next week so we can just focus on loading the truck. We're moving on a week day and we only have that one day to do it. I was hoping to take off of work in order to get it done, darn! We found a bunch of old clothes that we're going to donate to the Red Cross for the Katrina victims. It always feels good to do something positive for someone in need. We have so much going on all at once all the time. The kids have a doctor's appointment coming up. It's a child well and I think Brevy will be getting his shots. AHHH!!! He hasn't had to get them in two years...So, it won't be a good thing. He's a little trooper though. I switched over their hospital since their one doctor retired. It's sad, because we've had that doctor ever since the kids were babies. Now we're moving on to a new place and who knows what doctor we'll get. One thing is for sure, if I don't like him we'll be picking someone else. LOL. As long as the little ones are getting the shots and care that they need, we're good. I've been married for one month today. It's weird, because that one month went by so quickly. At the same time it seems like Charles and I, have been married for forever. I'm just proud to be his wife and can't wait to see what the future has to hold for us. Getting married is just the beginning! I should probably be getting to bed soon. I could sit here and go on and on all night. More tomorrow though. Good Night! ~

September 11th

Read "Twisted History" in side bar. It was four years ago today when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center and Pentagon. What have we learned since? http://www.september11news.com/ September 11th also means that I've been married for one month.

~A Touch of the Flu~

I went to work on Friday not feeling well at all. I tired calling in, but they said they were short handed and needed me. I agreed only if I could go home early. Jon, was the manager that night and he told me he'd try to send me home early. Well, early ended up being 11pm! I felt like crap. My legs were aching, my head was killing me, my nose running, sneezing, and just a complete mess. He had the nerve to ask me to run some video before I left. It's a miracle I even convinced him to let me go in the first place. He kept saying, "Do you really feel that bad?" It was an awful night. I called baby to come pick me up and he was there in 2 minutes. When I got home I was hurting bad. He made me some chicken noodle soup as I soaked in the tub. Ugh! He got me some Tylenol PM, which knocked me out cold; Just what I needed! If I knew that I wouldn't be able to go home any earlier than that I would have stayed home. I was supposed to work today and I called in. I still felt a little awful from last night. I tried sleeping late this morning, but Brey wouldn't let me. He continued to be loud while in the living room. So, after Charles got home from work we ate some lunch and slept for 2.5 hours. We both needed it! I feel better now. I have to go to work tomorrow and I'm hoping that little *&^%$ isn't there. She needs Jesus in her life, that's for sure. Aiy, starts Sunday school tomorrow. It will be a busy morning schedule for all of us, just hope my body is up for it. :}

Runny Stuffy Nose

I woke up this morning, sick. I have a runny, stuffy nose. I WAS the only one in the house that wasn't sick and now I can't say that. I feel so awful and I have to work tonight, ugh! It sucks...I'd be lucky if I can breathe, but I can't. The kids are FULL of energy too. Oh joy! My house is in disarray and I planned on packing more. Now I really don't know if I will be able to or not. :( To top everything off we still don't have our car. It's been in the shop since Tuesday. They're working on the radiator, throttle body, engine mounts and the hoses and crap that goes with it. AHHHHH! It costs an arm and a leg. It sucks! They're supposed to be done with it sometime today. That means poor baby has to come back into town, pick up G'pa, then go get the car...That's awful. They close at 6pm and that's when I work so we need to pick it up before then. Other wise we don't get it until Monday. Isn't that something? You know they're taking other customers before our car. They probably work on it here and there. They know they're already making money off of us and we're guaranteed to pay so meanwhile they help other peeps. I dunno! I think it sucks. I just want the mini van back. I miss the hunk of tin...That thing is so heavy! Heavy is a good thing though when you're driving around with these idiots on the road everyday. So, let's hope we receive a call today telling us we can come pick the car up.

Movie pick : "CRASH"

We just rented the movie "Crash". It stars Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon, Jennifer Esposito, William Fichtner. It's a Drama, it deals with all different races and how prejudice we all are. Charles and I, liked it a lot! It's sad that these things happen in our world everyday though! Go rent it, it's a good movie to watch! http://movies.about.com/od/crash/

Starting the Moving Process

Starting the moving process is SO NOT fun! I hate moving! We finally got to see the inside of our brand new house today. The house is really nice. I in a way- can't wait to move into it. I hate moving everything, but I like living in a NEW house. It's exciting to find out where you're going to put everything, how everything will look, etc. It's huge! I don't know if we'll have enough furniture to furnish it. There's a loft upstairs and it's huge! It can be a second living room AND my office area. It's so nice! I can't wait!!! The kids are so excited. Aiy and Meesa, are sharing a room. Brevy, gets his own room. The kids have nice walk in closets (which they SO need with all their toys and crap!) The master bedroom is huge. It will be nice to finally have some space to move around in. We have nice lighting in our room as well. It's shaped oddly, but we'll figure out where to put everything. To top it off I finally have my garden tub back! Ohhh, I can't wait to take a bath in there. The kids could swim in it. Hahah! Brevy and I, started packing all kinds of stuff today. The walls are bare and everything looks weird and is a MESS! It's going to be worth it though. We're all ready for a change and the big move (as much as I hate it.) Especially, after being married you kind of want to start somewhere new. What better way than to move into a brand new big house?! Another good thing is I'll get to either transfer my job to the new area, OR I might look for something else. I still haven't decided yet. Charles, has basketball tonight and isn't getting home until late, but he'll be so surprised how much we got done today in such a short amount of time. I need a break though...Just a little one to eat some lunch and put my feet up. More lata when I need another break. :-)

HAPPY LABOR DAY! ;-)

Unwritten

I am unwritten~Can't read my mind~I'm undefined~I'm just beginning~The pen is in my hand~ Ending unplanned~Staring at the blank page before you~Open up the dirty window~ Let the sun illuminate the words that you can not find~Reaching for something in the distance~So close you can almost taste it~ Release your inhibitions~Feel the rain on your skin~ No one else can feel it for you~ Only you can let it in~ No one else, no one else can~ Speak the workd on your lips~ Drentch yourself in words unspoken~ Live your live with arms wide open~ Today is where your book begins~ The rest is still unwritten~ I break tradition~ Sometimes my tries~Are outside the lines~We've been conditioned~To not make mistakes~But I can't live that way~Staring at the blank page before you~Open up the dirty window~Let the sun illuminate the words that you cannot find~ Reaching for something in the distance~So close you can almost taste it~ Release your inhibitions~Chorus

Saturday

I got to see Kaylee today. I was on my way to the hospital and right at the entrance we heard someone honk at us. I thought it was because we have "Just Married" all over the car, but then I thought not that many people do that here in NM! So, my next thought was that could be Stephanie. Sure enough Steph and Hubby, were leaving the hospital. They pulled in the parking lot and I gave her a flower pot with a pink balloon that says, "It's A Girl!" She's cute, tiny, and a bundle of joy. She was sleeping! Steph and Hubby looked proud! I'm so happy for them! Congrats again guys! So, today was just another day at work. I was supposed to go in last night, but I didn't feel well. It was my first 'call in.' They're lucky they got that. No one cares over there. No one calls in to tell you anything. Ya know me, I'm not like that. So, anyway...I worked today and it was just like any other day. Nothing but rude ass New Mexicans. I need to find another job! The management sucks there. It's nothing but young people and they don't know how to deal with stress. Ugh! One more day and then I'm off...I'm still making plans for Labor Day. Thank God I don't have to work for that. Maybe we'll go to the Corn Field Maze. Hmmm....?

To: "Meesa"

Dear "Meesa" a birthday is something special, a birthday is something precious, a birthday is a gift from God that he gives every year. Today God has blessed you with a birthday and I want you to know that God wants you to smile, be happy and most of all be a good girl. Today although I cannot be there to celebrate this gift with you I want you to know that Candy, Shannon, Patrice and myself wish you the best and we love you and cant wait to see you again. So on this day we send you love and our prayers on this special day for a special cousin. Love Ya Cousin Joe

Happy Birthday Meesa!

Happy Birthday! She's three years old. How those three years have flown by so quickly. I can remember bringing her home from the hospital. She's really grown overall since then. She had her birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese yesterday. She had a great day. We took her to a movie during the day at the mall. She also went shopping for a new outfit to wear for her party. After her nap time it was party time. We headed over to good ole Chuck E. She went right for the tunnel slide. Daddy and Aiy, went to get the cake next door and came to party as well 10 minutes later. After ordering our food it was time to have some fun. The kids took the tokens and went for it. They really know the place well. We usually just take them there to play and just have fun (not really for parties anymore.) They got a personal greeting with Chuck E. Cheese. They danced with him and had a great time, while "Miss. Party Girl" stood there watching her brother and sister have all the fun. She was too shy to dance or even stand next to any of them. Instead she watched while standing in front of them. She was cute though. I tried to get her to dance, but she got stiff. LOL. She doesn't like a lot of attention. Where as, Brevy LOVES and LIVES for it. He had the time of his life. While shy Aiy was in the mix, too. She wasn't shy tonight. All and all it was a great night. We ate cake, lots of cake. We had two cakes, one vanilla that they provide. One chocolate Dora cake that we ordered for her. She actually tried to eat a whole piece, too. (Lil Piggy!) Then, for the next two hours the kids ran around and played every game in the place at least twice, if not more. My favorite is the picture booth, where I grabbed the kids and Hubby and we took pictures together, two by two. Today, she gets to play with everything she received. She got a TON of stuff!! Way more than Brevy did for his party. She loves everything, which includes a Dora doll, Dora bath tub toys, bracelets, Necklaces, Princess outfit and play clothes, Leap Frog ABC activity toy, 2 shirts, a HUGE PONY (I MEAN HUGE), books, Tea Cup set, Imagination accessories, Dora blow up chair, 2 cell phones, etc. I can't remember everything, but she got a lot of stuff. My mom wants to send her stuff (fall clothes hopefully, because that's what she really NEEDS.) My Dad already bought her three toys while we were in NY for her birthday, but my mom wants to send her stuff anyway. So, she still has more presents to come. She was happy and that's all we wanted. She was a princess for a day! She even wore her crown for a little while. Happy Birthday, Bones! We love you! (check back-pics. still to come!)
