Hello

Hello Originally uploaded by Hsandia34.

We went to the local amusement park on Saturday and had a blast there. We got in free and ate free because it was "family day" for Charles' place of work. NICE! We had a blast. We saved the water rides for last, because it was kind of rainy out. We went twice, the first time I barely got wet. The second time we really got wet, but it was fun. :)

What a long Tongue!

What a long Tongue! Originally uploaded by Hsandia34.

Another funny picture from Lillian! She's cleaning and doing such a good job. lol.

Not enough time...

There's never enough time in the day for all that needs to be done. Too fast paced? Yeah, probably. Not enough help? Most definitely. Ugh. It's frustrating! Yeah, I'm going to be venting so if you don't want to read...Stop here.

After Brevy's birthday there seems to be an overflowing amount of trash everywhere...Boxes from toys, plastic paper hidden in corners, socks in birthday bags. What's that all about? That's his new thing; he hides his dirty clothes in secret places instead of bringing it downstairs to the laundry room where he knows it goes. Ugh. Boys! Yesterday, he didn't take a nap so he had to do chores until daddy came home. It included taking out the trash, folding his own clean laundry, and putting it away. Ha! Usually, he'll help if I ask him but this is beyond getting help. He's old enough to start doing a lot of these things for himself. Mama can't do everything! So, I let it be known yesterday. :) Yay Mama!

Work is still work. I haven't blogged about it lately, because it's the same ole boring thing. They did have like the biggest employee sale yesterday that I wasn't able to attend. GRRRRRRRRRRR! I was so looking forward to it, too. Sucks. I feel like a little lab rat there. No matter what I do it isn't good enough and there always making you do new things. Nature of a billion dollar company I guess. Go figure! Anyhow, I think I should start looking for a new, different job. I'm tired of it and it's not getting any better. I haven't seen my new male supervisor in about a week. I haven't received the copies that I requested before he vanished. There's no help what so ever. I mean how do they run that place?! Ugh. Now I need to put my effort into looking elsewhere, which is going to be hard. I'm not motivated at all. I think NY will motivate me, if I tell myself to work for traveling money. :) I need to get home, even if it's for a couple of days (which would be crazy, because it's cheaper to stay a week!) I just need to get back. I need to get away from this land of entrapment that I'm in. To see different faces. To breathe fresh air. There's nothing like home! I crave it everyday. I know once I get there I'll be going insane listening to my parents argue back and forth, which is there norm. Ugh. Once I'm there, I go crazy. I'm not sure what that means, but I cave it so. I pray that the Lord, will see it through. That's about enough for now. It's all I have time for. You might be tired of the venting anyhow. :) Come back for more. :)

If Only...

If Only... Originally uploaded by Hsandia34.

If only Mama's could get her paws on this one. Poor sweetie pie is going crazy, because she can't get to him. I put "Lightening McQueen" on the mantel and yesterday Lillian spent the day sleeping underneath him. She meows to keep him company, but he's safer now. This was the introduction picture. Needless to say...they are acquainted now. :)

Our NEWEST addition

Our NEWEST addition Originally uploaded by Hsandia34.

This was one of our birthday gifts to our son, who just turned five years old yesterday. He was so excited the entire day long. He named his fish, "Lighting McQueen" after the main character in the movie, "Cars" (for all of you who don't know!) :)

Happy Birthday!

The last two days I have been preparing for my son's birthday party. He's so excited that his friends will all be coming to the party. It's his first party with actual "friends" there, as opposed to all his other 4 parties where it's just been family. It's going to be the movie "cars" theme and his colors are yellow and red. He'll be dressed in yellow and looking fly. :) I've been wrapping his gifts for two days. I've been picking up stuff here and there and by no means is that easy when the kid is standing right there with you. You have to try to direct his attention in other areas and quickly pick up the item and hide it safely in the cart under something else. I'm a pro, I've been at it two days straight. So, I'm proud to say that when he opens his gifts from mom and dad they will be a surprise. Hehe...I just got finished decorating the kitchen area with yellow and red curly streamers. I usually wait and do it when he's sleeping, but I work tonight and there's no way I'm doing that when I come home at 11:30pm. I used to be able to hang in there that long, but these days I just can't do it. Tomorrow we're getting him some fish, because I promised him last year he can get fish for his birthday. After breakfast we'll be heading to the pet store. We're also going swimming for a little while, because that's what he decided to do. Originally he told me..."No we can just stay home and do nothing. I don't want to miss my party!" I told him, "there's no way we'd miss your party and it isn't until the night time. We're going to be the first one's there!" He's so silly!!! So, he finally decided on going swimming for a while. I just want him to have a good day. Last year he wasn't feeling good on his birthday and this year I want him to have as much fun as he can. That's what it's all about. :) I'm sure I'll have a ton of funny stories to post on Thursday. Happy Birthday, Brevy!!!!! :):):):):)

Bowling Shoes

Shoes Originally uploaded by Hsandia34.

We went bowling on Sunday and had a ball. I HAD to get a picture of our "stylish" bowling shoes. LOL. It's a little blurry, because I took it with my camera phone. Cute, huh?!

Brevy, has mastered his bike riding skills. He needs no help at all. I can't believe it, because we just took them off on the 6th. Already then he did an outstanding job that night. By the 10th he was starting by himself without me holding on to the back of the bike. Now he's speeding down the road and sidewalk, turning around with out stopping or putting his feet down. He's got it down-pat and I am in awe. We're so proud. He'll be five in 5 more days. :)

Flowing Freely

Water2 Originally uploaded by Hsandia34. I have tried to get this post in here for days now and I finally have time to do it. This is something I found so powerful and beautiful I must share it. Ready? Here goes!

Fill in your name where mine is. -Beth Moore

My child, Hillary, I loved you before you were born. I knit you in your mother's womb and knew what your first and last words would be. I knew every difficulty you, Hillary, would face. I suffered each one with you. Even the ones you didn't suffer with me. I had a plan for your life before you were born. The plan has not changed, Hillary, no matter what has happened or what you have done. You see, I already knew all things concerning you before I formed you. I would never allow any hurt to come into your life I could not use for eternity, Hillary. Will you let Me? Your truth is incomplete unless you view it against the backdrop of my Truth. Your story, Hillary, will forever remain incomplete...Until you let Me do what only I can so with your hurt. Let Me perfect that which concerns you.

I remain,

Your Faithful Father

Congrats Baby and Brevy

We went out last night to celebrate Charles passing his ABO test. After getting home we were kind of lingering outside so I said, "Let's take Brevy's training wheels off." We did and I knew it would be easy for him to ride without them, because he has a scooter with only two wheels, same thing. So, We tried it out and he immediately did well. He was riding up and down the side walk then Charles said let's go in the road so he has more room. He did much better in the road and was making his mom and dad so proud. I remember the first time I road my bike with out training wheels. How can I forget? My dad reminds me all the time. I think it's his favorite story. He told me I fell and ran upstairs to our apartment crying and I told him, "I'm never going to ride my bike again!" -being the little drama queen that I was (not am). LOL. Anyway, so I watched with amazement as he went up and down the street. He fell here and there, but caught himself. He's such a fast learner. We're so proud. :) Great job, Brevy!

A couple of days off...

Being off for two days in a row is nice. It would be nicer if there was something to do besides house work which gets a little old after awhile. I guess I shouldn't complain, I am off and not working. It's been raining here almost everyday, which is pretty good for NM. All everyone says around here is how much we need it and when we get it they complain about the flooding. I guess that's the nature of humans; we're never satisfied. Grrr...

Wednesday, I watched one of Bone' three year old friend while his mom had to go to a doctor's appointment. They had a blast and tore up both rooms with toys covered on the floor. You couldn't walk in there if you wanted to. I allowed it seems how he was a quest. hehe. Needless to say my kids had a huge mess to clean up after he went home. They slept good that afternoon for nap time, which works out for me.

Yesterday, was uneventful. We tried going to the play ground to play basketball, but it started to rain. We called it bluff and stayed while we got sprinkled on and then it rained harder and we drove back home. After getting home we get out of the van and the rain stopped. Ugh. So, we watched half a movie and the kids took a nap while I folded tons of laundry. We had movie night while Daddy was working in Jemez until 10pm. He refereed four games last night, because there's no one else to do it; right. By the time he got home we finished a crazy movie that we were watching called, "Green Street Hooligans." Not my pick of course, it's about soccer fans and how far they're willing to go for their reputation. It had a bunch of cursing in it and tons of fighting and blood. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It starred Elijah Wood, but I knew from the title it wasn't going to be my kind of movie. Oh well. We finished it. Like I said, a pretty uneventful day. I wanted to go somewhere, but I was scared of the van breaking down on us again. Just the other day when I was going to work, it wouldn't start. I thought, "OH GREAT HERE WE GO AGAIN!" It was the battery this time. It wasn't connected all the way. Ugh.

Today will be a different story. We will venture out no matter what the van has plans for. It's an overcast day so it shouldn't be too hot. :) The humidity is 77% when it's usually about 8%. I'm loving it, because it reminds me of New York. Speaking of which...I finally sent my mom some photos of the kids. She was so happy to receive them. Her and my dad didn't have to fight over them either, because I sent them doubles. I also threw in a couple pictures of the wedding. I still haven't printed my own wedding pictures out yet. Can you believe that? I just knew that I'd have them done back in September. I don't have the time and I don't know when I'll ever get them copied on disks and taken into the printers. Ugh. It's frustrating, I guess. One of these days I'll get it done and send it to everyone. For now it's baby steps and I have a lot on my plate.

Swimming and a Date...

Yesterday, was a lot of fun! We went to church and actually made it there with out breaking down. YAY. That was our first accomplishment. Then, we came home and Daddy made us breakfast while we got ready for going swimming. We headed to the pool after we ate and got in the freezing cold water, again. The kids were clingy to Daddy and didn't venture off like they do when I'm with them. grrr. They only went down the slide a couple of times. Charles, was "catcher" and he missed Brevy the first time he went down the slide and he swallowed a bunch of water. LOL. He laughed it off and went to do it again. Charles and I, went down too. Something I usually can't do when I'm there by myself. We spent far too much time there. We didn't take any cell phone or watch or anything...We just wanted to have fun and not worry about time. When we got home though it was 3:45pm and Grandma was coming to watch the kids at 4pm. Charles, had planned a surprise date, but ended up telling me Saturday about it. Oops. It was still really cute and I was still really surprised. I hurried to put the kids to bed for nap time. I knew if they saw Grandma coming, they'd never go to sleep. Bones was falling asleep on the way home and Brevy, too. I knew they were tired after all that sun. We got ready again and headed to where else, but P.F Changs. :)I was so hungry after swimming and was really looking forward to a good meal. Charles and I, talked the entire time...Which never happens. I always look around at everyone else in conversation. Him and I, are chowing down instead. This time we still chowed down, but with conversation. :) I miss that, because I'm home with the kids all day and they're old enough to talk to, but it's kid conversation. Besides my mom, there is no one to talk to. So, I really enjoyed it to say the least. We left the restaurant and it started to rain (yeah, more rain) and we laughed as we rain to the car. We stopped to rent a movie on the way home and got back to two little ones that just woke up. Grandma slept, too. They looked energized and ready to play. Virg, left after that and I made some mac and cheese for the kids. It started to rain at our house and it poured. Mind you, I had already went out and watered all of my flower pots and here comes the rain. We stood there and watched it from the window. We gave Aiyana a call and talked to her for a bit. She's having lots of fun and we're happy about that. She deserves to have some fun and not to worry about anything for once. :) It was a fun day, but we were exhausted. We watched some of the movie and decided to end it for the night. It's back to work today, but I'm looking forward to the 4th of July, because Charles has off. I'm scheduled to work that night. We'll have the day to spend together and I'll only be working for an hour. I'll have to make up the rest of the time. There's no way I'd miss watching the fire works with my family. :)
