A couple of days off...
Being off for two days in a row is nice. It would be nicer if there was something to do besides house work which gets a little old after awhile. I guess I shouldn't complain, I am off and not working. It's been raining here almost everyday, which is pretty good for NM. All everyone says around here is how much we need it and when we get it they complain about the flooding. I guess that's the nature of humans; we're never satisfied. Grrr...
Wednesday, I watched one of Bone' three year old friend while his mom had to go to a doctor's appointment. They had a blast and tore up both rooms with toys covered on the floor. You couldn't walk in there if you wanted to. I allowed it seems how he was a quest. hehe. Needless to say my kids had a huge mess to clean up after he went home. They slept good that afternoon for nap time, which works out for me.
Yesterday, was uneventful. We tried going to the play ground to play basketball, but it started to rain. We called it bluff and stayed while we got sprinkled on and then it rained harder and we drove back home. After getting home we get out of the van and the rain stopped. Ugh. So, we watched half a movie and the kids took a nap while I folded tons of laundry. We had movie night while Daddy was working in Jemez until 10pm. He refereed four games last night, because there's no one else to do it; right. By the time he got home we finished a crazy movie that we were watching called, "Green Street Hooligans." Not my pick of course, it's about soccer fans and how far they're willing to go for their reputation. It had a bunch of cursing in it and tons of fighting and blood. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It starred Elijah Wood, but I knew from the title it wasn't going to be my kind of movie. Oh well. We finished it. Like I said, a pretty uneventful day. I wanted to go somewhere, but I was scared of the van breaking down on us again. Just the other day when I was going to work, it wouldn't start. I thought, "OH GREAT HERE WE GO AGAIN!" It was the battery this time. It wasn't connected all the way. Ugh.
Today will be a different story. We will venture out no matter what the van has plans for. It's an overcast day so it shouldn't be too hot. :) The humidity is 77% when it's usually about 8%. I'm loving it, because it reminds me of New York. Speaking of which...I finally sent my mom some photos of the kids. She was so happy to receive them. Her and my dad didn't have to fight over them either, because I sent them doubles. I also threw in a couple pictures of the wedding. I still haven't printed my own wedding pictures out yet. Can you believe that? I just knew that I'd have them done back in September. I don't have the time and I don't know when I'll ever get them copied on disks and taken into the printers. Ugh. It's frustrating, I guess. One of these days I'll get it done and send it to everyone. For now it's baby steps and I have a lot on my plate.

lol...going through pictures is hard! did you just get a CD with all of the photos from the wedding? have you ordered any? I've got some around the house that I've developed, but of course they're not in an album yet!!

Ah, it's not even about going through them. That would actually be the easy part. The hard part is getting them copied onto cd's b/c right now they're dvd's full of over 1,000. That's a lot of copying. When I have the time, I'll start. It sucks, because I don't have the time with everything else I have to do. Gr.
