Durango,Colorado

Durango, Colorado was FUN! It was about a 3 hour drive. We rented a white, Ford Explorer. NICE! I want one...lol. Kids did GREAT in the car. Brevin's, body was tired from fighting off his fever so he slept some of the way. Aamya, slept a little and found it more fun to make silly noises and look at the animals with me. She liked all the horses and cows-as did I! lol. When we got there we were welcomed with a delicious, warm, chocolate chip, cookie. We checked out the hotel some. They had shops and a indoor pool and jacuzzi. They also had an exercise room, but the last thing I wanted to do was work out. lol... We went swimming. Kids had a BLAST! We got to spend time with Rod, Dee, and April. They're cool. We laughed a lot! I loved the company. We ate out together and had some pretty entertaining dinner talk. -hehe...Brevin, was better...No more fever. April, was sick though. After dinner, We had to gear up for Saturday mornings, 8am game. It was nice seeing my fiance` play again. I miss watching him. He's good- too! :) They played some physically tough teams, and still did good. The first game was exciting! It's been too long since we watched him. After the game was over we got to see the famous train of Co. Of course Brevin, wanted to see it. He loves trains. By then it was flurrying and the kids got to see some snow. We never get to see the snow so we decided to look around at more shops on Main Street. It's the busiest street there, full of shoppers and tourist. I had the camera out and was sure to take lots of pictures of the kids in the snow. We were able to find a cute, kids shop full of toys and great for Aiyana. She didn't end up coming with us, because she got sick as well. We found out last minute and was sad that she wouldn't be with us. So, we got her a couple of gifts. The kids found these really cool plastic trains that they wanted. Gotta love trains!!! After a busy day of walking around shopping here and there, It was time for a nap- for all of us...After our refreshing nap it was back to game time! Charles and his brother, were good!! I was tired just watching them!hehe...They had fun and that's the important part! Sunday came all too soon...It was another early game that they won. All to play again 2 hours later. After grabbing a bite to eat it was GAME TIME ONCE AGAIN...But the guys were tired and didn't hold on any longer. That was their last game. It was fun! Brevin, is really interested in playing basketball now, just like his daddy. We're all proud of him and ROD! Way to go WBL!!!

Brevy's Update

Well, Brevin's fever came back. I guess he just had a high spot. It was 102.6 last night at 8pm. That was enough to scare me. I called the pediatric line and talked to a nurse at the hospital. She said it's a low grade- go figure. Since, he was alert and didn't have any other symptoms she said, he's okay and to keep doing what I was doing. This morning it's at 99.9 and he's all over the place. Nothing stops him. He's been drinking well, which I want to keep him doing. So far so good...Poor Brevy! :(

Poor Brevin...

This afternoon Brevin, got sick. After we got up we came to give me a hug and I noticed he felt really hot. He didn't look that great. I asked him, what's wrong? He started to cry and said his feet were cold. They were like ice. Yep, that's a fever alright. Got the thermometer. He had a 101.1 fever. He never gets sick!! So, he was in full blown tears and crying away. I gave him Motrin and started a small, warm/cool bath. His body was burning up. Just had him in there for a couple of minutes...Didn't want to bring on the chills. Got him out, gave him some Gatorade, made soup accompanied with crackers. I fed him b/c he looked so weak and awful- poor thing...He almost magically got better. Fed him some soup and he ate the crackers...lil bits at a time. He drank Gatorade. I let him watch Snake Master (on animal Planet- he loves wildlife, especially snakes.) He cheered up quickly. That medicine started working fast. He's all better now. It was weird! I was trying to figure out how in the world he got a bug...Strange! I'll probably go insane trying to figure it out. I'm just glad he's better!!!! Yesterday, he took a late nap. We were so busy yesterday. Doctor's appointments, car dealerships and then finally home. We laid them down at 4pm- which is really late for them. He got to sleep 2 hours, but was a little bit drowsy. He ended up bumping his head really bad, on what we think was the crib. If that wasn't bad enough...Later that night after telling him to settle down, which seemed like seconds, he hurt his lip. So, with a large bump on his head and a fat lip later...What in the in the world? Was there something in the air? I tell ya! He was just clumsy yesterday...He's healing well today. What next?! UGH! BOYS!!!

My Day

We went for a movie today. We saw, " Are we there yet?" It was really funny! Gotta love Cube! Talked to my mom. She seemed, "not her best." Just when things look better there's always something going on somewhere, that likes to make it difficult to enjoy things. I wish she'd make good choices. She won't though. That's life! Can't control people and tell them what to do. You can only hope that they make the right choice for themselves and live their BEST life. (Like Oprah says) It's one of my favorite quotes. Live your BEST life! *sigh* Well, other than that, today was a good day. We watched, "Win a Date with Tad Hamilton," too. It got better as the movie went on. It was cute- I guess. "Notebook" was definitely better! Well, I'm afraid that's all for now. Nothing else really going on...

An Update

Valentine's Day was a blast! We had a lot of fun. I took a lot of pictures. I hope to get them in tomorrow and see how quickly I can get them developed. hehe...I just got my bday ones back and some from NY! I didn't even know I still had rolls from the summer. Anyway, I guess I take a lot of pictures. hehe... So, we had a nice lil party. I made a strawberry cake (like last year.) We had some decorations and bought balloons. Then, Charles came home with a dozen helium red and pink balloons. WOW! I got roses in a vase. hehe...They're really pretty. I made cherry Jello...lol. Anything red or pink- we had it! It was a nice day. Today, Brevin- had a dental appointment. He loves the dentist. He did GREAT! He was so excited to get a new tooth brush. It's the lil things that pleasure him. LOL. He's so cute!! Aamya, doesn't have her cleaning until April...But they do well. I'd rather have them start early and know what it's all about. This way they go when they get older. :) I had a doctors appointment today. It went well. Found out that I DON'T have endometriosis...Those people didn't know what they were talking about and scared the life right out of me...Good thing I do my research! *wink*

Happy Valentine's Day Posted by Hello

What a day...

What a day- I tell ya....Today, was supposed to be an easy cleaning day. We're supposed to get ready for the party tomorrow...It turned out to be the total opposite. Why is it when things are suppose to run smoothly they always do the opposite? Why is it when you're not prepared for things to go wrong, they do? That's life, I guess. It started off so crazy...Right in the am. We were picking up kids, taking them here and there...Who can think when all you're doing is rushing around everywhere? We got volunteered to take aiy's cousin to Sunday school, because of course- we take Aiyana. Ugh! Sorry- but I need to vent- that is a purpose of a blog- in my book. I like having the girls over to eat and I like having things organized, but I guess it was just chaos today. They had a party to go to and turns out we weren't going to see Aiy that much today anyway. We also had a picture appointment after the Brevin and Aamya's nap. Turns out we had to pick up Aiyana on the way. Her G'ma had her and wanted to meet so Aiyana can come with us to do the pictures. BAD IDEA!!! She wasn't wearing a jacket and started getting the sniffles apparently from the day before. Her mother was in Texas and didn't want Aiyana to stay with us. She said, Friday and Saturday are "her" days and are to be spent with the g'ma. So,she was cranky and tired from being with her grandma and cousins all weekend. We barley saw her today. We get to Sears and she's already complaining she's hungry-( mind you she just came from a party and just ate.) Kids are always hungry!! Plus, she was getting sick...It seems like I am the only one that notices this stuff. We didn't notice about the jacket until her Grandma pulled away. So, there she was in 50 degree weather with no jacket. (-With the wind it's cold.) So, where was I? Oh yeah, we're in Sears and she starts complaining and to top it off my daughter wasn't smiling. The one and only girl that can get them to smile at Sears was on sick leave. Flu season is in full effect in Albuquerque. So, we got stuck with some lady who had no idea what she was doing. She's supposed to position the kids and get them to smile. Who was doing all the work? ME! And Aamya is used to a 3 hour nap. (The girl can sleep) and she only got a 2 hour nap. Her attitude was bigger than the building. That's why she's my lil Mama. I mean, I can't really blame her- the lady WAS annoying. I tried to get her to smile, but it wasn't happening. So, the pictures didn't come out that great. I was hoping she'd be happy. That's why Aamya is Aamya!!! How can a two year old have such an attitude? To tell ya the truth she's always had one. I guess she was born with it. It will only get worse as she gets to be a teenager. We don't even want to go there!! So, anyway, both girls (aiyana and Aamya) end up crying. Aiyana, was crying because she was tired. She told Aamya not to go near her, because she's getting sick. Aamya, starts crying (not only does she have an attitude, but she's really sensitive, too) Go figure! So, it's a mess. Brevin, tried smiling, but got tired, because the lady was taking her sweet time setting everything up. So, he had this "clench" look on his face. lol. He's a trooper though. We tired.! Next week I scheduled for Aiyana's pictures to be taken. We'll see how that all works out. I think it's the presence all three of them together. They try to out do each other usually. This time around everyone was just too tired. That's my little ones for ya. We're supposed to be going to Colorado at the end of the month with all of them. Ugh, now that will be fun. Can we say portable DVD player? *sigh*

Super Bowl

Well, what can I say? I'm out 3 bucks....lol. So much for Philly. Sorry, Jesse! Charles, knew New England would win. http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory?id=476728 I just knew differently. Oh well...There goes my Maybeline Lipstick. Ha! That's what I was going to get with my winnings...lol...It was fun. We pigged out on chicken wings, chips and dip...oh and ice cream, too! Brevin, was in on it too! Patriots, just got lucky again...It's Aight!

Hooked

http://www.mtv.com/onair/dyn/realworld-season15/episode.jhtml?episodeID=79653 I am so hooked to this show!!! Between Real World/Philly and Lost on ABC...I'm in heaven! http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/index.html Of course, I have to TIVO, Super Nanny- which I've only seen once, but I like it. I like her strategies. It's crazy how those kids act up. It's not the childrens' fault- it's the parents!! I like the show though. http://abc.go.com/primetime/supernanny/index.html And Desperate Housewives...http://abc.go.com/primetime/desperate/index.html I found this show by accident and started watching it...Since, I'm clueless on what's going on...It started off good. I think I'm an ABC supporter...lol. They have some good shows this season! Just wanted to share! :) I don't have a lot of time to watch, but that's where Tivo comes in. :-)

*OuR HoMe*

Okay, so get this...We found out the other day that the owners of our home want to make the house we're renting from them, into a high pricey, furnished home. Meaning, at the end of our lease- we're out, because of course we have our own furniture. Now, I should say that Charles and I, weren't planning on staying another year. We're moving East. Even if we wanted to, we couldn't though. Isn't that crazy? They told us, "Don't freak out!" I mean, it's their house and they can do with it as they please. I was like, so if we weren't getting married and wanted to stay loner, we wouldn't be able to?? Damn!!! That's messed up!!! lol...It IS great timing though, since we never wanted to sign again. We're getting married in August and then moving at the end of September. That's two MAJOR events happening back to back....Ya know what that means?? No honey moon. Well, that's what I'm thinking. How are we going to go off for a couple of weeks or even a week, if we have to move junk and clean house? Ugh...That's how I see it. BUT you can bet your money we're going to get one. I don't know where to or how, but we'll figure it out. lol. Things always have a weird way of working out. I was stressed after I heard that news...Then, I thought, why am I stressing? We were planning this move for awhile now. I guess it just puts it all into prospective a little better. Time to start throwing out some junk. lol. Good Will or The Arc, here I come!! I love giving it away. It makes me feel better knowing someone will use it. Anyway, the owners are great people. They're in Hawaii now. We'll see what happens when they come back in May. Some news though...

Me on my birthdayPosted by Hello

Me again Posted by Hello

~~MY BIRTHDAY~~

My Birthday went wonderfully!!! I woke up with my little ones screaming,(as usual) and a few minutes later BURSTING in my bedroom door. I got a card. Brevin, made me a beaded bracelet the day before as well. I walked into the living room to find it decorated from head to toe in Mickey Mouse, accessorized with balloons hanging from everywhere. Thank You, Baby!! We got showered and headed off to a surprise breakfast at I-Hop! MMMmmm...Where I must say we all ate really good. Especially, Brevin- he had 6 mini pancakes...lol!! That's good for him! Moving on...Then, we headed to the mall. I decided that Brevy needed some more jeans...So, we went shopping for him mainly, but we all got something. I picked out some shirts at Old Navy. :) And I got Meesa a necklace that says, "Princess" and some bracelets...Like she needs more??!! But we had fun. Then, we came home and Charles and Brevin, made me a Devil's Food cake. I must say, watching two guys cook is really cute. LOL~ I took lots of pictures. Brevin, was especially excited to make me a cake. Charles, had lots of patience with him spilling eggs everywhere. LOL! I felt pretty special. Then, while the cake was in the oven the kids had to take a nap. It was like 2pm and that's pretty late for them. Meanwhile, Charles and I, watched some TV. Then, I decided I should get my hair done. My dad was telling me over and over...I wasn't going to, but I didn't know what the night had in store for me so I did. I made a 5pm appointment at JC PENNYS! Good 'ol mom worked there a long time and that's the only place I trust. So, got the kids up and headed off to the mall, again. It took the girl almost an hour to create an "up do." It was really pretty. I felt like a queen! :) I got my nails done on Sunday. So, I was all set. Everyone kept asking me what the occasion was. :) After, what seemed like forever- we were headed back home. The kids ate some dinner and then cake. I was getting pretty hungry, but knew Charles had something up this sleeve. Marisa, kept text messaging him earlier in the day...And I just knew something was going on...So, I held out and sure enough...She was coming over after work so we could go out to dinner. She kind of blew her cover with the message she felt on the machine. She said,"Charles you have to pick me up tonigt." LOL. So Charles, gave in and told me. I was excited, because we were going to P.F. Changs...My new favorite restaurant. YAY! While he picked her up, I put the kids in bed. They were tired from all the fun all day. I was able to online and view everyone's card they sent me. Thanks guys...I felt special!! We got there about 8:45pm. The food was great and I ate a lot. It's always nice to just get out without the lil ones. I was really surprised that Charles had all this planned out ahead of time. He's usually not like that at all. I really appreciated it, even though I wanted to know what was going on the whole time. LOL. Gotta Love Me!
