LOOK, SNOW! Originally uploaded by Hsandia34.

We got 5 inches of snow on Tuesday. It snowed from 10:30am-5pm. It looked so beautiful. I can't remember the last time I saw that much snow here. We enjoyed it, very much.

IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 INCHES SO FAR!!!! (Pictures coming soon)

Answered Prayer?

Two days ago I was on the phone with Charles while at work. I was about to clock in and I saw my supervisor along with some other standing in a huddle. I looked over at them and they all looked up at me (kinda like they were talking about me). So, I hang up and clocked in...I walk past them and Andrew says, "Hi!" I say, "Hi" back and he says, "Oh she needs to ask you something!" As he points to someone else. So, I'm standing there while she's giving me the bullet points for Client Service...I asked, "You want me to do CS?" They said they needed extra people. Something about how like everyone is over there and it's still not enough people to assist the call volume. At this point I'm lost and confused. They look at me and say,"so will you do it?" I asked, "can I think about it?" GEEZ! They attack me with all of what I'd be doing and then expect me to grab my things and hop on the phone. So, anyway...I had a million questions and really no one answered them well...after thinking about it for 24 hours I, decided to do it. With all the clearance going on right now it's hard to stay at 35.01 above company...it's close to impossible. I'm not looking forward to this new position though. It's new. I'll be dealing with all the people at got screwed over and I'll have to fix their problems with out transferring them. Ugh! There's 6 days until Jesus' birthday...I don't want to hear stupid people complaining how they spent $1,000.00 and only got 150 off. I'm really not in the mood for that...or people screaming in general. I wouldn't have to recommend anything though. That's good! I think that's the only thing that's good about it. I have training today and tomorrow from 5:30-9:30pm to learn everything I need to know. RIIIIGHT! The good things I see from this are...It's only seasonal, I'd be done by the end of February. It might open a spot for me to be the SOD or I can do "command" to help people when they call and don't know how to do something. In the training I'll be taken today, it helps with that position as well. I prayed to get out of sales and now I'm out, starting today. Maybe it's what I've been wanting. I'm more than apprehensive about this new position though! :-P

Yesterday!

We took the kids to see Charlotte's Web. It was really good!!! I always cry during Charlotte's Web. Hehe...I didn't have to got to work so I was really happy. :0) We went to a Christmas concert at our church and we made sugar cookies; thanks to Jen and Colette for sending the adorable aprons and cookie cutters. The kids had a lot of fun making a mess. We had flour all over the place. lol. They came out really cute and really good. I should have taken pictures, but I didn't. :( Thanks guys! It was a good day! :)

Charles' Welcome Home

YAY! Although I didn't show it, because I was asleep when he got home. We talked while I was at work last night and he let me know that his flight was delayed. We would have been at home at the same time if not for this...So, he didn't know how long and just sat and read a paper. When I got out of work I left him a message. When I got in the house I was not happy with what I saw. Immediately I saw that one of the blinds in the living room was broken. Yes, broken. They made me REALLY upset. I saw cars under neath the dish washer. All the Christmas lights were still on. I go into Brevy's room really quietly because everyone is sleeping. I turn on his light and his room is a mess (a no, no!) Toby comes flying out of his room (another no, no- no and they know that!) I woke him up and made him clean his room. I threatened to do this before, if I came home with his room a mess. It took us 30 minutes days ago to get his room into shape. I told him to keep it that way. So, I didn't care. I woke him up and he cleaned it. I asked him about the blinds, because I knew he did it. He told me he bent it backwards and it broke. Since he was half asleep I decided to deal with the blinds in the morning. I go into Bones' room to check on her...all is well. I go to walk into my room and my door is locked (something I do when Charles' mom watches the kids, because Brevy likes to go in there). So, I figured one of them locked it, because I didn't. So, I'm looking for the key and nothing. I go back down stairs to get a key and finally open my door. My light is on and Lillian comes Flying out of my room. This also had my blood boiling. So, I'm not happy at this point and I text Charles all of what was going on. He calls about 15 minutes later and I asked him if he got the text. He says," no -not yet!" So, I started to tell him what I saw when I got home. He couldn't hear me too good and I told him to read it and call me back. I couldn't very well scream what when on. His mom was in the next room sleeping. So, I turn on the TV and I sit and think about what Brevin's punishment will be for breaking the blinds...He calls and tells me he read it and wasn't happy about it either. He wouldn't be home for another hour and it was already after midnight. I couldn't stay awake any more and went to bed. I heard him come in the room and didn't really have much enthusiasm. I was tired and half asleep. I just wanted to rest. So, everything was great...I was sleeping good...then, all of a sudden I hear all this commotion. I jump out of bed and fly out of the room. I scared Charles to death by the way. I go into the bathroom to find Brevy and Gma. Brevy was throwing up. Okay, Brevy NEVER throws up...the last time he did was when he had the stomach flu and that was the very fist time ever. So, this was odd and strange. I didn't have my contacts and couldn't see what was going on...which was probably a good thing. Charles, was right behind me and he grabbed cloths and what not to clean it up. We were asking Brevy what in the world happened?? Why was he throwing up. He didn't have a fever and he told us he ate too much. *shakes head* Gma also confirmed that he was snacking ALL night. UGH! So, we put him back to bed after it was said and done. We went back to sleep. This morning Charles, told me that he talked to his mom and asked what had happened with the blinds. She told him that the minute Brevy heard me leave and the garage door was down he started to act up. He took a piece of cardboard and threw it at the window thus breaking the blinds. Gma said she told Brevin, " You almost broke the window!!!" and his response was, "I don't care! I don't care!" Once I heard this I told Charles I'd ask Brevy again to see what he'd tell me. So, I did so. We went downstairs and as he looked at the damage he had done he told me what he did. He told me the truth. I decided his punishment would be to earn the money to pay for it and to also make gma a "sorry" card for giving her such a hard time. By the way the cars I found all over the house went in the garbage. These kids know the house rules. They have a huge loft to play in upstairs. They know to have their rooms cleaned before going to bed and no toys down stairs. I've said it and said it and he watched as I threw his small cars in the trash. He's so hyper with his Gma around. Also, gma won't be watching them again by herself anymore. If something were to come up I have another person in mind for that...plus, she owes me. So, I'm just shocked at how behaved. I knew he was going to be naughty, but not almost break a window. He's got a chart of chores to do and each one has a different dollar amount. Once he completes the task the money will go into a jar for the broken blinds. You moms out there know how hard it is. What in the world?? Ugh. He's getting to the age where he needs repercussions for his actions that are age appropriate. I think this is! Wish me luck. I'll be praying for patience with this and with him. What a "welcome home" Charles got! He's working in the morning and I work from afternoon to midnight. I won't be seeing much of him today either. Challenging? Yes! Tomorrow, I am happy to say I didn't get added hours and will have a much needed family day.

Charles' BIG night!

Charles went to the New Orleans game on Thursday night. He stayed for the LIVE show on TNT where they had Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, and Ernie Johnson do a run down on the game. Reggie Miller was there and Charles (my Charles) was two feet away from him. He got lots of cell phone pictures and I SAW HIM ON T.V!!! He kept calling me every fifteen minutes to let me know he was staying later and to tell me to turn on the after show on TNT. I was watching it and right before they were to commercial I thought I saw Charles from a distance. So, I call him and I ask him, "Are you wearing a blue t- shirt and a khaki color hat?" He says, "YOU SAW ME????" I said, "YEAH!" We were laughing and he was really excited to be there. I guess he had a real good time hanging out there. He even got a picture with Ernie. He says, "Hey Ernie, mind if I get a picture with you? My wife LOVES you!!!" I dyed laughing. I told him, "You used me!" LOL. He got the picture and was having fun listening to Charles b. crack on Reggie's socks. He had on some striped socks and Charles B. Says, "Ya know the last time I saw socks like that was on the yellow brick road!" I think Charles got pictures of his socks, too. We haven't had time to share any of that yet though. Once I get them I'll post them so you can laugh, too! lol. Great times, I guess.

BIG NIGHT

Brevy, had his BIG night last night. His very first concert EVER! They sang a bunch of Christmas songs with a little paper Santa hat on. So adorable. I recorded the whole thing for Charles, because he is out of town (and living it up- I might add)! It's supposed to be work. RIIIIGHT! Anyway, we're not going there because then I'll be on my hands and knees praying. So, moving right along...After the concert I went and gave Brevy a real big hug and I handed him a yellow star that said, "You're a Star! I love you! Love, Mama" on it. Then, We (Gma, Gpa, Bones, Brevy, and I) went to Brevy's classroom for hot cocoa and cookies (that all the parents brought in). Brevy, was cheesing from ear to ear. He also had a really great day at school and finally earned his star back. GREAT JOB, Right? He had a really great day all day. When we got home we watched the video and laughed at what went on. Some of the other kids were really making some funny faces and movements. They did dance moves with all the songs and it was just too cute!!! Today, is my day off and I can't wait to just do nothing. I'm tired. It's been a long and rough week. As the days go on, it gets better. I'm starting to get used to it. Charles will be home tomorrow night...we should probably get to the house at the same time, since I'm working tomorrow. I'm probably working on Sunday as well. I can almost feel it. Ugh. Semi-Annual is coming up and I'm not looking forward to that....sucky AOS and a bunch of cheap people buying one pair of something. Not FUN! Yesterday, I got some wrapping done and sent out all of my Christmas cards. Having two days off is much needed. Nap time anyone? :)

I Need Some of this:

I Need To Vent!!!!

*SIGH* I am having a rough time. Charles, went off to New Orleans and left his mom to take his place and it is just not the same. I love her with all my heart and am thankful for her help with the kids while I am away at work, but it's just SO different. It makes me really think! Not having Charles around is double the work load and with my hectic work schedule and added hours it's really difficult. I try to be really organized and have a schedule for her to follow, because I know she's not used to having small kids to look after. She's also not used to what goes on at our house. She doesn't really read the schedule though and that makes it hard, because the kids are just running around tearing stuff up. She also watched Aiyana as well yesterday. That made it even more crazy. Brevy and Aiy, don't get along. Brevy, is used to being the older child and when she's around it's not the case. Aiy, is used to being the baby and when she's at our house Bones, is the baby. So, it's really crazy lately. Yesterday, was especially crazy. I worked late on Saturday night and I left early to make sure I was able to at least see Charles before he'd leave. Then, Sunday morning we had to get up early to say goodbye to Charles and head off to church. Aiyana was going to met us there and that was just one less thing I had to do. There was no way I was going to travel 45 minutes to her house that early and picking her up. I'm just stressed at this point. Plus, on top of all of that...Bones and Brevy, are sick! They have really bad colds. I was wishing I could just stay home with them and take care of them and not have to travel back and forth to and from work. Life doesn't work that way though. So, it's been hard. I'm used to the way Charles and I do things. We have really good team work and I'm really used to the schedule we have. I don't have to tell him to read to the kids before bed time, he just does it. I don't have to tell him to help the kids brush their teeth before bed. Ya know?! I dunno! So anyway, I managed to cook dinner and have it ready by 2pm yesterday so when I left to work I could take dinner with me and this way Virg didn't have to cook for three kids. Aiy, wouldn't be getting picked up until 8pm and that makes a really long day for her, too. It wasn't even busy at work, but there was no one around to VTO us. So, we all sat there and listened to one an other's conversations. People were talking to other people from across the room. No one in there had a call. You'd get a call every 15 minutes so it was really a waste of time. Usually, they let us go when it's like that. Uhhh...So I got home at 12:30am and got up at 7am to get Brevy ready for school & thanks to Lillian. Usually, I get up at 7:30am, but she woke me up early! Ugh. I barely got him off to school on time, because he kept stopping to talk to gma. Gma, wasn't helping, because she kept encouraging him to chat when he was supposed to be getting ready. It's just STRESSFUL! Charles, calls every chance he gets which is like every two hours or so...in between his trainings and what not. He says he doesn't feel that great either, but this isn't a mandatory trip. He was chosen and could have turned it down. It's my fault, because I encouraged him to go. Next time I'll just shut my mouth! He doesn't get back until Friday! Ugh. I need a nap. I'm cranky and I have no patience right about now. Just needed to vent a bit. :{

Playing Catch up

Not too much to report! The kids went to Bethlehem night at Church on Saturday. It gives the parents time to themselves. Time to do whatever it is that we parents do with out our kids. It was nice though. I got all the lights up and Charles and I went out for lunch. It was a hectic fast day...lots of picking up and dropping off. Lots of rushing here and rushing there. I was a little stressed. I hate rushing around! Then I went to work from 3:30-midnight both Saturday and my day off which was Sunday. Sucks. This week I have the same schedule. Next week Charles goes out of town on a LONG business trip to Louisiana. Brevy, holds his FIRST EVER concert. His class along with two other classes will be singing Christmas carols. I'm excited. I'm going to record it, because Charles won't be able to see it. :( I managed to send my mom's Christmas package off. Go figure, I did it early. There was a photographer for the paper taking pictures of my bones and I, then he approached us (I was unaware of the fact that he took our pictures). He asked for our names and told me who he was. He said he's not sure if they'll use it. I said, "you took a picture of me looking like this? Oh no! Can I see it?" He showed me and I told him, "I hope you don't use it, but have a Merry Christmas!" He just laughed. lol. Ugh. What else is new? Not too much...Today is my day off and it's much needed. Work is crazy! Lots of crappy orders and long handle time. (Not good)! Still I managed to be 34.00 over company which is hard to do right now. I don't know if I'll be able to keep it up. Last night I stayed my entire time instead of VTO-ing (leaving early). It was hard, because call after call went more down hill. It was really all for nothing, I suppose. Anyhow, I've already personalized the Christmas stockings with gold glitter. They came out really cute. I'll have to take a picture of them when they're dry. I'd still like to put lights in my room. My room is the only room with out lights in the window. It may be too much, because we have lights on the roof for the first time ever. I usually only decorate everything BUT. lol. We need fuses, because with 5 stands of lights together it blew a couple of the small fuses and now we can't find the larger ones. Wal-Mart is wiped clean. :P~ Such as my luck, right?! Bones, is practicing her colors, because she's dragging blanks when I ask her a color. She knew those and now it's like, "HUH?!" We're going to have movie night tonight with the kids. It's been forever since we all snuggled up on the air mattress in front of the T.V with blankets and warm cookies to watch a good movie. We move the coffee table and rearrange everything just so we can have movie night. Lillian, loves the bed with a sheet on it. She could play and sleep there for hours. We always have to fight her to let us on, too. I miss doing that. Working nights, sucks. I'm getting tired of it again...Not the working....just what I'm doing. I saw a couple of girls that were in my same class and they've moved on to doing "command" which is off the phone time. I don't know what I'd want to do...but I would like to get off the phone. The only thing with that is you don't get paid you're $8.00 lift. That would suck! I don't know if it's worth it. I'm still thinking about it though. Meanwhile, I'm still being a fashion consultant for a major company. :-P ~! Before I end here I want to close with this:

"Jesus is the reason for the Season!"

WOW....All of that in NM. OH MY

WOW....All of that in NM. OH MY Originally uploaded by Hsandia34.

This was yesterday morning. The kids even had a two hour delay. Can you imagine??? NM with a two hour delay...??? NICE! The only bad thing was I woke up early to get the kids up and called Charles and THEN I found out. Sucks. He tried to tell me, but I leave the ringers off and usually call him AFTER I get Brevy up. I guess I need to reverse that in the future. It was nice having TWO days of snow. It was a real treat. Although by the time we woke up, we couldn't make snow angels...it still looked pretty and it felt like home (NY). Meanwhile, NY was having beautiful weather. The temperature there was almost 60 degrees. Weird huh? That just leads back to global warming. Anyway, we woke up this morning late and had to hussle around, but no snow and it's still really cold out. It's weird having my eyes tear and not really know when it's going to happen. The winds were so strong these last couple of days and temperatures in the teens at night. For those of you who think it doesn't get cold here, YOU'RE WRONG!!!! lol. I froze my butt off and so did everyone else. BUT I LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!! :) Bring it on! :)
