Birthday part 2
Did I mention that the Birthday surprise was ruined by Aiy's mother? Oh, yes- she told aiy even though I asked her not to...Real nice- huh? I tried not to mention that, because I don't want to bring negative into my positive world. She ruined the surprise though....Very sad, but true! What I don't understand is, why take the fun out of it for Aiy? I really don't get that...I guess she doesn't care. I don't know. *sigh*
On a more positive note, I'm doing Aiy's whole Birthday party. I've cleaned house...All of it, for our family that's coming over. (I like a clean house.) I made her Enchiladas...First time making those. Charles, used to make them at the old house and I helped a lil...It's pretty messy. So, this was my first time making these by myself. I don't even EAT HOT food...Did I say there were hot? Yep! They're hot...She better enjoy them. Hehe. I'm also making her a Devil's Food cake...Her favorite. Right now she's in school. I started decorating the house his morning. Lots of balloons all over. She's got a Minnie Mouse banner that says, "Happy Birthday!" This is our first time having a party for her at the house. Usually, we go to Chuck E. Cheese, but Chucky is getting old now. I do small parties for the kids at the house, too. We try to change it up a bit. So, I hope she likes everything. I'm exhausted. Between cleaning house, taking care of my two children, and cooking for the party...Ugh. I'm tired. Did I mention I had to get up at 6:30am this morning? Oh yea-- very true. My children are now taking a nap. Once, the cake comes out- I plan on taking a nap as well. The party isn't until 6:30pm. Let's hope everyone comes on time. Wish me luck!
