Meesa's Success
Aamya, aka "Meesa" did well on her evaluation today. She was reluctant to do some of the exercises (due to her brother waking her up so early this morning-Thank You, Brevin!) Other than that she did well. She's 100% and it's confirmed. They are going to write up her discharge papers and we can't wait! We're so happy!! She just has to keep working on that left leg and make sure she leads with it when she's walking up stairs so it can stay strong. Right now her legs are the same. She's been so active trying to keep up with her brother that she passes him right by these days. It's really funny to see. She'll keep it up, because in the upcoming months she'll be more active. As it gets warmer they'll be able to play outside. They're learning how to ride their bikes and that's GREAT movement in her legs and ankles. Plus, we do at home PT. She does great with jumping off of her foot stool and so much more. I can't see her going backwards, only room to move ahead in her progress. :0) Yay, Aamya! We're so proud of you! :-)
